MAKE CALLS TO SUPPORT PROGRESSIVE
CALIFORNIA STATE BILLS - Sept 3 - 6

Participate in MVCAN’s crucially important “Call-In Week” from
Tues. Sept 3 - Fri. Sept 6!

Between now and the end of the current legislative session on September 13, State Senator Mike Maguire and Assembly Member Marc Levine will be voting on critical policies that will affect the lives of all Californians and provide a forward-looking model for the whole country.

MVCAN is joining with Indivisible Sausalito, Indivisible Marin, and Indivisible West Marin to let our two state legislators know how we want them to vote on CA priorities. During our first Call-in Week last May, all of us mobilized together and had an excellent impact. This week’s plan is part of a statewide effort with all Indivisible Chapters to support seven key bills.

This a great chance to effect real change in California. Both of Marin County representatives are progressive and generally their voting record reflects that fact. Nonetheless, calling our representatives about these timely and important bills lets them know we are paying close attention to what they do and keeps them accountable.

Coordinating our calls on the same day will have a much bigger impact, so we are asking you to call about specific bills each day.
